Explanation:

CuSO4(aq) +Fe (s) = FeSO4(aq) + Cu(s)

A more reactive metal displaces a less reactive metal from it's solution. Iron being more reactive than copper it displaces copper from CuSO4 solution when the nail is added to it and produces Ferrous Sulphate solution which is light yellow greenish in colour and copper is deposited on the nail. As a result the blue colour ofp the copper sulphate solution fades gradually and finally disappear.

Answer:

When iron fillings are added to copper sulphate solution, iron will displace copper to form iron sulphate. The blue colour of the copper sulphate solution changes to green as iron sulphate is green in colour.
