Blue colored Copper sulfate is also called Hydrated Copper Sulphate because 5 molecules water of crystallisation is also present with Copper Sulphate molecule, When blue colored ( hydrated )Copper Sulphate is heated then then it loses the molecules of water of crystallisation and only CuSO4 is left which is white in color, and CuSO4 without water is also called anhydrous Copper Sulphate.
