\textbf{Basic or Neutral }

We know that blue litmus reacts with acid to turn into red color, since, it doesn't changed the color. So, that solution will be basic or can be neutral in nature.

Blue litmus paper is dipped in a solution. It remains blue.

A blue litmus paper can stay blue in two situations when the substance is alkaline in nature or the substance is neutral in nature.

When a substance is alkaline in nature it turns red litmus paper blue and if it is neutral then it doesn’t change the colour of any litmus paper.
