ACCORDING TO THE QUESTION BOTH THE MASS HAS SAME LINEAR MOMENTUM. AGAIN M1 >M2... SO TO MAINTAIN THE CONSERVATION OF LINEAR MOMENTUM THE SHORTER MASS HAS THE HIGHER VELOCITY. AND THE GREATER MASS HAS THE SMALLER VELOCITY.
