In cockroach excretion is performed by Malpighian tubules. Each tubule is lined by glandular and ciliated cells. They absorb nitrogenous waste products and convert tem ibto uric acid which is rxcreated out through the hindgut. Therfore, this insect is called Uricotelic. The fat body neprocytes anurecose glands also help in excretion.
