Bohr's atomic model suggests that

(b) atomic spectrum of atom should contain only five lines

In 1913, Neil Bohr proposed a theory commonly called Bohr's atomic model theory. In this theory, he discussed the atomic spectrum of an atom and the line spectra of the atom. The line spectrum of an atom should be limited to five lines according to him.

When electrons gain energy from some source and jumps to the higher level and almost immediately drops back into a lower level which emits the energy difference between the two energy level.

His model was first to propose the quantum number concept of an atom to describe the atomic state and postulate quantization of atomic orbits in the spectrum.
