boiling point of water on hill station like shimla is lower than in delhi. why ?

the boiling point on Shimla is lower than in Delhi as Shimla is situated at a higher altitude than Delhi so it has lesser atmospheric pressure and that's why water has a lowered boiling point there. The boiling point decrease s with decrease in pressure. If you put water in vaccum it will boil at 0°C. Hope this helps
