In the poem "Bonds of Friendship", the author is talking about how he nourished the friendship.
The poet expressed about his friend's personality that his friend was too much polite and his smile was very cheerful that easily attract everybody.
Due to his friend's smartness and politeness, their friendship grew up and both of them become good and humble friends. One day they both talked about their dreams and ambition among them. The time passes both grew up and became busy in their life.
They moved apart at their respective work and forgot about their childhood memories. But further time passes and when they become old, they again back to their native place. When they both looked at each other they both have the same smile. This rebounding made them realize that they had never left each other and were always in each other memories. They talked to each other with the same desires and aspects, share all their life experiences, and at the end both thanked each other for taking time for each other. The poet thanked that he never deserve such friendship and felt privileged to have such friendship.
