A Transport Company charges ₹5400 rupees to carry 80 quintals of weight .What will it charge to carry 126 quintals of weight?

The answer is ₹8505
How???

ANSWER

Let x be the charge to carry 126 quintal

Dealing it in ratio method.

Weight : Charge

80 : 5400

126 : x

On cross multiplication,

80x = 5400 * 126

x = (5400*126)/80

x = Rs: 8505
