Explanation: Bony fishes are the ones which have bone tissues in them and their skeleton is formed of those bone tissues only they are also known as Osteichthyes and their taxonomic group is also composed of bone tissues but most of the time they are compared or misunderstood with Chondrichthyes which are borne with cartilages tissues and their skeleton is made up of soft bone that cartilage tissue and the bony fishes belong to phylum chordates that means they have notochord and vertebral column and kingdom Animalia and hey are cold blooded  ad also they use fins or gills ti respire  and swim in water along with having paired nostrils then jaws and paired gills and their most peculiar behaviour is to produce sound which they do so for reproduction or social or territorial or in case of aggressive behaviour and this sound they produce by rubbing there theet or by vibrating the swim balldder or by contraction and relaxation od muscles and there body provides them bouncy and due to these characters they are adapted to both salty and fresh waters.
