Depends upon whether you’re peeing on an electric fence - electrons cannot be blamed for what people do with them. How is electricity bad? - when you can’t see the stars at night, when you forget how to get along without it, when a power outage in winter is a scary survival situation.

I would say that electricity has been a boon, and any misuse of it is our own fault.
