Yes,Botanical Gardens are living herbaria as herbaria means keeping specimens in an herbarium sheets,as when we do so we actually need to kill the specimen but in botanical gardens they are preserved alive and a appropriate atmosphere(required to live) are maintained.

The word herbarium refers to the collection of plants preserved or stored in their non-living forms. Similarly, botanical gardens are living herbaria which means botanical gardens preserve or store plants as well but in their living form.

Botanical gardens grow and protect plants in living conditions by providing them all the nutrients.
