both amoeba and bacteria are single celled yet are placed in different kingdom.give reason

This is because bacteria is a prokaryote ,this is due to the reason that bacteria is prokaryote having cell wall  whereas Amoeba is eukaryote and does not possess cell wall as they have different characters  ,so they are placed in different kingdom.

Although both Amoeba and Bacteria are single celled organisms but the difference here is in their types.


Amoeba is an Eukaryote and a protozoa. Eukaryote means an organism with complex cell structure. Special cell organelles are present withing an Eukaryotic cell.


Whereas Bacteria is a Prokaryotic cell. Prokaryotic means with no true nucleus.
