A parasite is an organism that grows, feeds, and is sheltered on or in a different organism while contributing nothing to the survival of its host while A carnivore is an animal that gets food from killing and eating other animals. They don't take shelter on them.

Answer: The correct answer is-
Both carnivores and parasites depend on other animals for food.
Carnivores are the organisms that obtain food by capturing and killing other organism. The organism that is captured and killed is called Prey.
Example of Carnivores- Tiger, Lion, Fox
On the other hand, parasites are the organisms that depend on other organism called host, which provide them food ( as a source of energy) and shelter for completing their life cycle.
The host for the parasite can be a plant or an animal body.
Example of Parasites- Entamoeba histolytica, tapeworms, fleas.
