Manures:
(i) These are made with organic wastes
(ii) These are prepared in the open fields
(iii) These are eco-friendly
(iv) These contain low amounts of nitrogen, phosphorus and potash
(v) Enrich the humus ( top layer ) of the soil
(vi) Do not cause pollution.
(vii) These are not much productive

Fertilisers:
(i) These are made with chemicals
(ii) These are prepared in the factories
(iii)These are not eco-friendly
(iv)These contain high amounts of nitrogen, phosphorus and potash
(v) Degrade the quality of humus ( top layer ) of the soil
(vi) Cause pollution
(vii)  Very much productive.

advantages of using manure
1 it replenish the soil naturally as it contains organic substances like cow dung fodder etc
2 it does not harm soil . it is free from chemicals .
3 it is easily available. cheap
4 using manure we get healthy crops


disadvantages of using manure
1 it takes a long time to form manure
2 when we use manure , again it takes more time as compared to fertilizer to replenish the soil.

advantages of using fertilizer
1 it helps us to avoid fallowing
2 it increases crop yield
3 reduces time



disadvantages
1 it is very expensive
2 crop that we get contains harmful chemicals
3 from land sometimes fertilizer also get mixed with water and cause water pollution
4 it aso degrades land
