Both Terrestrial and aquatic animals require oxygen so why can't aquatic animals live in Terrestrial habitats

The oxygen that aquatic animals need can only be given to the animals through water that is through dissolved oxygen... Aquatic animals have gills, if they had lungs they could also live on land.... Gills use dissolved oxygen not direct oxygen
