Both wind and water pollinated flowers are not very colourful and do not produce nectar. What would be the reason for this???

Nectar is made by flowers to attract insects so that they can be pollinated. Wind or water pollinated flowers do not need insects so making nectar would be a waste of energy.

anuj7860: what is the reason for colour????
sadiya1706: The bright colours of flowers are to attract insects to pollinate them. Wind pollinated and water pollinated plants have no need to attract insects so they don't need brightly coloured flowers.
