answer

it's easy

mass=35+15=50 kg

t=5 sec

h=15/100

p=w/t

work done =mgh

p=mgh/t

p=50×10×15/100×5

hence p=15

Answer:-

Given:

  • Mass of boy = 35kg

  • Mass of bag = 15kg

  • Number of stairs = 12

  • Time take to cover one stair = 5s

  • Height of each stair = 15cm = 0.15m

To Find:

  • Power of body

Solution:

Finding work done by the body

Total mass = 35 + 15 = 50kg

Total height of 12 stairs = 12 × 0.15 = 1.8 m

Here,

Potential Energy

= Mass × acceleration due to gravity × Height

= 50 × 10 × 1.8

= 500 × 1.8

= 900

So, the work done by the body is 900 J.

Finding power of the body

Power

= Work done ÷ time

= 900 ÷ 5

= 180 Watt

Power of the body is 180 Watt.
