brain does not play any role in reflex action? Why?

because reflex action is sudden unconscious process so that brain doesn't play any role while spinal cord palys

This happens as spine(spinal cord) takes and returns the signal of the small action before it reaches to the brain.This can be expained as sudden,uncalculated action Example-If you suddenly hold a cup of tea/coffee spine tells you to leave it resulting in falling of tea/coffee and breaking of cup. Next time when you hold a hot cup spine won't take decision and let the signal go to ones brain and take a wise action.
