Brain drain is the phenomenon of the migration of highly talented or skilled or qualified people from any particular country. In case of India Brain drain has become an epidemic. India is loosing highly talented individuals to countries like The USA, UK etc. This happens mostly due to the lack of better opportunities and a better career in ones country. In a general context this isn't a very big set back to a country. However in case of developing countries like India, loosing such talented individuals is a very big downside. We already have lost many such talented people like Sathya Nadella, Sundar Pichai etc. whose contributions are not helping our countries growth. India still has a long way to go to be developed country and this can't be done if we loose our countries talent to other countries. So, Brain drain is not a bane to us.
