Regurgitation happens whena valve doesn't close properly and blood leaks backward instead of moving in the proper one-way flow. ... Your heart tries to make up for this by working harder, but with time your heart will become enlarged (dilated) and less able to pump blood through your body.

Tricuspid valve control the blood flow from the atria to the ventricles. It make the blood to flow in one particular direction.

If it does not close or open properly then there can be either leakages or the flow of blood is blocked. This means that the blood may flow backwards and not in its predetermined direction or will be static inside your heart....❤️
