Answer:

Speed of Car in first 30 min =40km/h.

Distance covered=Speed × Time taken .

60min = 1 hour

30min = 30/60 hour

Distance Covered = 40×30/60 = 20 km.

Speed of car in second 30 min = 60km/h.

Distance Covered= 60×30/60= 30km.

Total Distance Covered= (20+30)= 60km.
