well u can choose a lot of topics. this is what i find most commonly done in my social science project group. these were the recommendations we listed.
1. poverty
yes there is a good scope you could actually make reports graphs and day to day news articles. how to do? main picks how poverty effects our economy, health, people at this level remain same. think out of box buddy!
2.inequality
you could take this on gender bias and caste biased. here once again graphs and stories and news articles are helpful. or personally recorded interviews and books are a great source of them. you could bring a bit of women s problems also.
3.corruption
a very good topic and i am sure if u prep out a good content you can make a success out of it. news articles, frontline should be your top sources.
4. feminism
how could you forget this topic man?????
in this topic you could take a rang of subtopics.most popular prefrences of people as to man. people prefer that men could work better at it and other techie industries because they think that a man can do much much more than a woman. you have a lot of subtopics.
