There are 0 bananas left because

• Number of Bananas Rohit HAD=five

(HAD=past tenses)

• Number of Bananas all his five friends HAD=(5×5=25)

(HAD=past tenses)

• Number of Bananas Rohit HAD eaten =(5-2=3)

(HAD=past tenses)

• Number of Bananas his friends HAD eaten =(25-5)=20

(HAD=past tenses)

Hence, all the points shows that this is a past tenses and The question talks about the left banana now (now is a present tenses)

So, Zero (0) Banana's left now

We can't say that the left bananas as present tenses Hence, that have to be calculated as (HAD ) past tenses.
