The answer is black bread mold (Rhizopus stolonifer).
Black bread mold scientifically known as Rhizopus stolonifer is a common thread-like mucorelean mold.
It is commonly found on the surfaces of bread. Unlike green plants, it doesn't have chlorophyll therefore it cannot manufacture its own food.
This is the reason why it is found on bread because it gets its nutrients from the bread.
The moisture on the bread is limited preventing growth of bacteria or fungi but very conducive for the growth of mold. Bread and mold usually come in contact through air which is a carrier of mold spores. Once the bread and the mold spores come in contact the bread molding process is initiated.
