Hi mate.
Thanks for asking this question.
Here is your answer,
Process is known as Respiration
The process in which the simple organic
compound I. e Glucose is broken down to
Gain energy.
By the help of three steps.
(1) Glycolysis :
The process in which Glucose is
break down with the help of 2 ATP and forms
to 2 mol. of pyruvate by releasing 4 ATP and
2NADH2.
(2) Link reaction :
The pyruvate is broken into
Acetyl coA (2c) with the help of
DEHYDROGENASE COMPLEX by releasing
2 NADH2 and 2 CO2.
(3) KREBS CYCLE :
IT takes place in the
mitochondrial matrix in which Acetyl CoA
Is react with oxaloacetate to form citrate ( 6c).
In this whole cycle the 2 ATP, 6 NADH2 and
2 FADH2.
AND LASTLY ETS :
IT takes place in the inner mitochondrial
membrane in which the assimilatory power
generated in Glycolysis and Krebs cycle is
used for the preparation of ATP,
by using Molecular oxygen.
Lastly concluded that the,
In total Respiration lastly 34ATP are formed
through ETS and 4 ATP is directly formed.
So, the 38 ATP IS GENERATED.
Thank you.
