it is a theorum which is used to find any one of the sides of a right angled triangle. the side AC is perpendicular .AB is hypotenuse. CB is base. the theorum states that
(AB)^2= (CB)^2 + (AC)^2
or
(H)^2=(B)^2+(P)^2
(AB)^2= (CB)^2 + (AC)^2
or
(H)^2=(B)^2+(P)^2
