out of the five D orbitals three D orbitals are on between the axis and t w o d orbitals are on the x axis y axis and Z Axis when I league and having charge comes near nearer to the octahedral complex then the d orbitals which are on Axis gain energy due to repulsion from the ligand going higher state but the D orbitals which are not on the axis comes on the lowest rate due to low energy .
