the northern mountain
it is also called as young fold mountain because it consists of hard rock
it has many highest peaks and deep valley glaciers
it has divided into three types namely
the greater himalayas the lesser himalayas siwalik himalayas
the greater himalayas are the inner most continuous and highest ranges
the average height Is 6100mts
they have many peaks
the grater himalayas are also called as himadri

the lesser himalayas are also known as himachal
they are 60 to 80 km wide
they are many parallel ranges
they contain many valley

siwalik hills
they are the outermost ranges of foot
located in south of the main himalayas
they are also called as outer himalayas
they are the lowest range of himalayas
it height is 600 to 1500mts
