Collect the residue (Sand and Sulphur powder)and dissolve it in carbon disulphide, CS2. Sulphur dissolves in carbon disulphide but sand is insoluble in carbon disulphide. Filter the solution and evaporate it to get sulphur. Sand is dried on filter paper.

Answer:
the answer is here
Explanation:
Dissolve the mixture of sulphur and sand in carbondisulphide. Carbondisulphide will dissolve sulphur but not sand. Filter the solution. Sand is separated as the residue. The filtrate is contains sulphur in carbondisulphide. Evaporate the filtrate to vaporize carbondisulphide. Crystals of sulphur are left behind.
