Rabindranath Tagore started institution in the name of Shantiniketan in 1901 as a child He hated going to school he found it it is application and oppressive. on growing up he wanted to set up a school where the child was happy and where she he would could be able explore his heart thought and desire Tagore was of the view that creative learning could be encouraged only within a natural environment and children could cultivate their natural creativity.
