Ram Mohan Roy like other man only more so this "moreness" has been viewed from diverse perspectives.  

Jeremy Bentham found him in an "intensely admired and dearly loved collaborator in the service of mankind."  

Due to Sophia Dobson Collet Ram Mohan gives "a most inspiring study for the New India of which he is the type and pioneer."

Romain Rolland awards him as "ushered in a new era in spiritual history of an ancient continent" and who was "the first really Cosmopolitan type in India."

Raja Ram Mohan Roy contained a very passionate and close attachment to concepts regarding equality and liberty.


Yet, he portrayed respect and believed in property along with contractual freedom.


He accepted the natural rights’ immutable sanctity, and also advocated for the state legislation in support of educational reconstruction and social reform.
