The diameter of the wheel of a tractor is 2.1m. If the wheel completes 250 revolutions, find the distance covered by the wheel.

1) 1.75km
2) 1.60km
3) 1.55km
4) 1.65km

Hi !!!

Distance covered in 1 revolution = 2 π ( 2.1/2) = 6.92m

Now distance covered in 250 revolution = 250 ( 6.59m)

= 1647.5m

1km = 10³m

{1m = 1/ 10³ km}

1647.5 km / 1000}

= 1.64km.
