Structure of atom :
The concept of tiniest particles was given long back by Greek Philosophers like Democritus and Indian Philosophers like Maharshi Kanad.
According to them, the continued subdivisions of matter would ultimately yield atoms which would not be further divisible.
The atomic theory of matter was proposed by John Dalton.
Fundamental particles are present in the atom. These are the particles which are more than 80 in an atom.
Example :Proton,Electron,Neutrons, Photons, Neutrino Boson, etc.
The discovery of various sub atomic particles led to the proposal of various atomic models to explain the structure of atom.
