According to me in this jetage, kids hardly want to follow the typical reading books method of teaching, this now it's time for some kinds of experiments with the methods of teaching. When we wish to explain something new we can show it on projection.I think we can introduce the audio visual method of teaching because it's more interesting. We can have oral discussions with the students to know if they are actually paying attention in studies. The main purpose of exams must be to know how much the student has learned and not how much ruttafication the student do.
I hope this answer helps.

Teaching and learning is a process where we communicate regarding ideas from one mind to another mind. The person sending this communication is called teacher and the person who is on receiving end is called learner. The most important part of these processes is media. Media is that part in which this communication takes place. For example books, reading material, board on which some instructions are written, OHP sheets or presentations on white board are all medias. Medias can be of many types. Most common medium of teaching communication is textual communication. In this medium uses books or notes for teaching of any subject. But the times are now changing fast. Now there are many non textual materials are being used in teaching.

Non textual sources are those sources that involve creativity for teaching and learning. They have better penetration than that of textual sources. Examples of non textual sources include Photographs, cartoons, maps, artwork, audio clips, film, places and artifacts with text that provides students with a comprehensive, cohesive and practical guide. We all know that we are able to learn fast with images and videos. We remember something easily if we have seen it rather than read about it. For example if we read a word apple it creates image of apple in our mind, because we have seen fruit apple. In the same way if in biology class photographs of lungs are shown, we would be able to learn about respiratory system easily. In the same manner if a video of heart is shown circulating blood throughout our body, it will create clear picture in the minds of students. It would be better to show a video of Ajanta caves rather than reading about it in text books. Hence it is made aptly clear that when we use the non-textual materials like cartoons, photographs, videos etc in combination with textual material, they provide better learning and makes the process of teaching very easier.
