Answer:

MODE OF TRANSMISSION-

A person can get cholera by drinking water or eating food contaminated with cholera bacteria. In an epidemic, the source of the contamination is usually the feces of an infected person that contaminates water or food. The disease can spread rapidly in areas with inadequate treatment of sewage and drinking water.

SYMPTOMS-

1)profuse watery diarrhea, sometimes described as “rice-water stools”

2)vomiting.

3)thirst.

4)leg cramps.

5)restlessness or irritability.

PREVENTIVE MEASURES-

1) Make sure to drink and use safe water to brush your teeth, wash and prepare food, and make ice.

2)Wash your hands often with soap and safe water.

3)Use latrines or bury your poop; do not poop in any body of water.

4)Cook food well (especially seafood), keep it covered, and eat it hot.
