hey mate...
when ever we touch a hot , sharp object the sensory neurons transports the impulses to the spinal cord from the spinal cord the relay neurone passes the signal to the motor neurone the motor neuron transporter messages back to the effective organ which was in contact with the object be touched .
this is known as reflex arc
as soon as we touch a sharp object we withdraw our hand instantly
this is known as reflex action
