In 1848 a large no.of political association comprising of middle class professionals,bussiness class and prosperous artisans tried to deny different regions of germany into a nation state.
2 they got the support from large land owners(junkers)
3 prussia took over the leadership for unification .its CM Ottovon Bismarck was the architect .
4 three wars over 7 yrs with Austria ,Denmark and France which Prussia won and completed the process of unification .
5 in Jan 1851 William I became the emperor.

at that time Germany was ruled by king wilhelm 4.
then Prussia took the responsibility to unify Germany
Otto Von Bismarck led the national East Movement in Germany he was convinced that Germany could be achieved by prince.

this wars cause a lot of destruction in Germany
and new Germany with legal and judicial system was formed.
on 18th January 1871 in the Royal Palace of Versailles Kesar William 1 king of prussia was declared emperor of of unified Germany.
