Luminous objects are objects that generate their own light. For objects to be luminous they must have their own source of energy. An example of luminous object is the sun.Non luminous objects are things that does not emit light. Some examples of things that are non luminous are books, clothes, trees and a lot more others. One simple test to know if the object is luminous is that it glows when the surrounding is dark.
