humayun was the second mughal emperor . He ascended the throne after the death of his father Babur. He fought many battles during his lifetime . But one day when humayun was busy in a battle his general sher shah revolted against him and was successful in becoming the new ruler. Humayun fought many battles with sher shah to reoccupy his kingdom but was unsuccessful. he took shelter at a Persian court when sher shah was the ruler. But one day sher shah died in a gunpowder blast and humayun was successful in reoccupying his kingdom but after some days after his ascension to the throne he also died when he was walking on the staircase in his library he fell from there and died and was succeded by his son akbar the great.
