● Direct current ( DC ) :
1. It is produced by the movement of electrons in the same direction .
2. Its direction is also not change so it is called direct current .
3. It is induced by the DC generator .
● Alternating current ( AC ) :
1. It is produced by the rapid change in the direction of movement of electrons after a regular interval of time .
2. It alters its direction after a regular time interval so it is called alternating current .
3. It is produced by AC generator
