Irony refers to statement made which is totally different from ur thinking.

In the poem "The frog and nightingale" frog forced nightingale to sing from dusk to dawn and in more pleasant voice but at the death of nightingale he totally changed his statement and said ur song must be ur own.

here the frog forced the bird to sing in a very high pitch . when the bird sang at its maximum pitch it died . this shows how the bird is fooled by the frog . the bird is like child which can be easily be decieved .
