Bring out the irony in the statement: 'I did not specialise in ghost stories, but more or less they seem to specialise in me.'

kiransharma060ov55g9: was not specialised in writing ghost stories but the readers who used to read his horror/ghost stories want to read more!!! and john have to write bcoz jenkins was the only one who used to print his stuff.

this means that even though the writer does not believe or have interest in ghost stories the ghost stories is what always intrigues her or him

He is not fond of writing ghost stories. He says “I didn’t specialize in ghost stories,…… they seemed to specialize in me.” He never had any idea for such a story and didn’t know how or why he was able to write them.
