Sargasso Sea

The Sargasso Sea is the only sea on the Earth without a coastline, a sea without shores. This strange and unique creation of nature is located in the middle of the North Atlantic Ocean and is surrounded by ocean currents.

The Sargasso Sea located in the middle of North Atlantic subtropical gyre, near the Bermuda Islands, is the only sea in the world without any coastline.

It is bounded to the North by the North Atlantic Current, to the South by the North Atlantic Equatorial Current, to the East by the Canary Current and to the West by the Gulf Stream.

The brown Sargussum seaweed, from which the sea gets its name and the calm blue water keep it distinct from other regions of the Atlantic Ocean.
