In some women, oviducts are blocked. These women are unable to bear babies. In these cases, doctors collect freshly released eggs and sperms and keep them together for fertilisation. If fertilisation occurs, then zygote is allowed to develop. After two three months, the zygote is placed in mother's uterus and the baby is born like other babies. This method of fertilisation is known as in vitro fertilisation. The babies that are born by this process is known as test tube babies.
