bryophyte are called amphibian of plant Kingdom and their life cycle is not completed without water
.As they live in water they do not require vascular bundles .

Bryophyta is known as the amphibians of the plant kingdom. They have a well differentiated body to form stem and root. They do not have the tissues for conduction of water and other substances. They get water from roots.
