Hi, friend.

BRYOPHYTES are terrestrial non vascular plants( no vascular tissue namely xylem and phloem) which still require moist environment to complete their life cycle .so they are dependent of both land and water. And so they are called amphibians in the plant kingdom.

Answer:

plants belonging to bryophyta grow on moist soil but need water for reproduction. thus they share two habitats such as soil and water. that's why they are called amphibians.
