All civilised people would agree that bullying is an act of cowardice. I have always stood up to bullies and have reported them to the appropriate authorities for I feel physically stronger human beings have no right to overpower those that are physically weaker simply with the use of their strength.
Similarly, it is wrong to ill treat animals, especially domestic ones like cats and dogs. Stray cats or dogs too should not be ill treated. I would take the help of the animal lovers society or animal welfare board in ensuring that animals are neither ill treated nor killed, that they are cared for and nursed back to health in case they suffer from diseases or injuries.
