first be convert 72 kilometre per hour in metre per second 72*1000/60*60= 20m/s. use 1st equation of motion. v = u + at. so, u = 0 ,v = 20m/s , t= 60s so, v= u +at = 20 = 0 + a × 60 = 60a= 20 = a = 1/3 m/s square for distance. use 2nd equation of motion s= ut + 1/2 at square. s= 0×60+1/2×1/3×60×60= 20×30=60m. ans= a=1/3 and s=60m
