In India there are two types of members in Mumbai stock exchange. They are called brokers and Tarawaniwalas. The Tarawaniwalas act both as jobbers and brokers. A Tarawaniwalas makes transactions on his behalf like a jobber but he may also act as a broker on behalf of the public.
